Resident Services Director
Lisa Moore has both personal and professional experience working with seniors. While her career has included retail, law enforcement and party planning, it was as a volunteer with her church’s Senior Saints group where she found her niche. This led to a position in the Activities department at a long-term care facility, and ultimately in 2010, to her current role as Activities Director at KentRidge.
But it was her childhood in a close-knit family that spanned four generations that had the greatest influence on her. Having watched first her grandmother and then her mother willingly and lovingly take care of their elderly relatives, Lisa was inspired to find some way to provide that same level of comfort and attention to other seniors in need. Now, as Activities Director in the Special Care Unit, Lisa wants to give those residents the feeling of living in a safe, caring environment.
Resident Services Director
Kaylin Miller began her formal career as an activities director at an area assisted living facility in 2009, a position she held for three years during which time she completed Part I and II of the MEPAP (Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals). She then joined the KentRidge team as Activity Director in 2012.
But it was her earlier experience working at a family-owned pharmacy in Mantua where she interacted with many senior customers, combined with the stories her sister shared from her work as a nurse’s aide, that initially fostered her interest in working with that age group. As the Activities Director at The KentRidge, her goal is to provide residents with a variety of interesting and enjoyable opportunities.
Business Office Director
Katie Daugherty was employed at The KentRidge in 2014 but left in 2015 for a brief period of time before returning back to what she enjoys doing; working at The KentRidge.
